"My New Years Custom" by, Jhan

On New Year we use cylindrical fireworks to celebrate. We were packing up for the fireworks trip. We both decided that we were going to the giant park. My dad and I drove to the enormous park until we were there. It took us from 4:30pm to 5:00pm to get there. "I can't wait to use the colorful fireworks," I said. There were just a few minutes before we arrived at the park. We were setting things up. I took out a long, silky blanket so we can eat the tasty snacks and see the beautiful exploding fireworks. I asked, "Can we use the fireworks now?" My dad said, "Not until 5:30pm." I played alittle bit in the playground 'till 5:30pm.

On 5:30 when its dusky, we were ready to use the fireworks. "All right, you can use alot of noisy, bright fireworks, as much as you can, but not too much, " my dad requested. "Okay," I promised. I was using all the whistling fireworks from the bag until all the colorful fireworks are used. People said, "Oooohh, Aaaaahh, and Cooool," as they look at the spiral fireworks. After that, my dad said, "Wash your hands so you can eat some tasty, sweet snacks." I wask my dirty hands onto the clean fountain, dried my hands with a silky towel, and ate the tasty snacks my dad brought.

After I ate some snacks, we saw some people using fireworks. People said again, "Oooohh's and Aaaahh's." The fireworks look really good and beautful. On the evening I said that "We had a Happy New Year, dad." On 7:00 we both started to pack up things. Later on, we were in the warm car and lock the doors. I was so tired that I yawn. Before we went home we found a parking space for us to park. We were headed for the gate and to my bedroom. I brush my teeth, wash my face and went to the bed. While I was sleeping, I was starting to dream about fireworks sparkling.
